Bolder Youth Climbing Team 2025/26 Season

Bolder Climbing’s youth team is for the dedicated, focused, and goal oriented athlete who believes in working within a community culture focused on continuous improvement. Bolder youth athletes will be ambassadors to our brand and will have access to individualized training and instruction, our team of uniquely talented coaches, and Bolder Climbing Collaborators. This team of highly motivated athletes will work on skill acquisition, strength development, movement, and physical therapy throughout the season to achieve their climbing goals. The team will run three to four times a week for three hours each session from mid September 2025 until end of May 2026.  If you are interested in more information about our teams, please email us at programs@bolderclimbing.com. This year, we will hold a mock competition to help us sort athletes between our three teams: High Performance, Performance and Development. This mock competition will be held Wednesday Sept 10th 6-9pm at Bolder Climbing Elevated. 

Team Details

NEWS: Two teams running concurrently: Performance Team and High Performance Team. All Bolder athletes are automatically welcome back to team. The mock comp will be used as a sorting tool for athletes into High Performance, Performance and Development teams

Performance Team:

  • Team Sizes: 6-12 athletes
  • 2-3 coached training sessions per week (3 hours each) (required to train 2 days a week minimum)
  • Athletes train between Bolder Climbing Community and Elevated
  • Practice locations:
    • Monday 6-9pm at Elevated
    • Wednesday from 6-9pm at Community
    • Saturday 9am-12:30 pm at Elevated (combined practice with High Performance team) 
  • All current Bolder athletes are invited to team and are encouraged to participate in the mock comp 
  • This small group will focus on skill acquisition and preparing for more intense practices and competition
  • Team trains boulder, lead with the additional option to train speed on Fridays. We will also cross training for climbing 
  • We may split speed to every second week based on registration, but we will practice every Friday 

Cost

  • $275 / month  for 2 coaching days/ week* 
  • $315 / month for 3 coaching days/ week*
  • $370 / month for 4 coaching days / week*
  • Additional fees include:
    • Competition coaching fees will be charged to athletes who compete at ACA or CEC sanctioned / coached  competitions. The fee breakdown will be presented to athlete parents upon acceptance to the team.
    • Uniform fee

Registrations for Team Trials close on September 5th. 

High Performance Team:

  • Team Sizes: 6-12 athletes

  • Speed has been added to the program as the 4th day of training on Fridays. 
  • Athletes train between Bolder Climbing Community and Elevated
  • Locations:
    • Monday 6-9pm at Community
    • Wednesday from 6-9pm at Elevated
    • Saturday 9am-12:30 pm at Elevated (combined practice with performance team) 
    • Second session Saturday 1:30 pm-3:30 pm at Elevated (Only High Performance)
    • All current Bolder athletes are invited to team and are encouraged to participate in the mock comp
  • This small group will focus on skill acquisition and preparing for high level competition
  • Team trains boulder, lead with the option for speed + cross training for climbing
    • We may split speed to every second week based on registration, but we will practice every Friday

  • $370 / month for 4 coaching days / week*

  • All athletes will be expected to have a profile and credit card on file. Youth team dues will be charged mid September, then the first of each month. Gym membership is not included and is required.
