Meet the manager at Bolder Climbing Elevated, Foster Woodward. A vibrant individual who discovered his passion for climbing at Bolder in 2018, where the community and atmosphere of the gym captured his heart. With a strong desire to spread joy and make a positive impact on those around him, Foster is driven to ensure that Bolder maintains its reputation for delivering the ultimate indoor climbing experience in Calgary. While you’ll often catch him falling off climbs more than sending, his infectious enthusiasm never wavers even when a post-fall expression may suggest otherwise. He is tasked with providing top-notch customer service and supporting the front desk team to ensure their success.

Foster graduated from Mount Royal University in 2023 with a double major in EcoTourism & Outdoor Leadership and Sport & Recreation Management. He plans on opening his own bouldering gym in the future. So, next time you’re at the gym, be sure to say hello!
