Ana

Coach/Program Coordinator

Ana started climbing more than a decade ago. Within just two weeks, she went on her first outdoor climbing trip. Before climbing, Ana was a competitive racquetball player, representing her national team for several years, but once she discovered climbing, she made a full transition.

Ana brings more than 13 years of coaching experience across multiple sports and has spent much of that time leading provincial and national programs, beginning in her home country of Ecuador.

As a coach, Ana likes to help climbers understand how their bodies move on the wall. She loves working with movement analysis and showing how small adjustments can make a big difference, helping athletes improve efficiency, strength, and confidence. She has a special love for overhang climbing, and chances are she’ll have Ecuadorian snacks on hand to share.

Ana is also our Program Coordinator, so whether you’re looking for private lessons, enrolling your child on a team, choosing a ropes class, or just have questions about our programs, Ana is your go-to person.
