Tyson has been climbing for 9 years now and has been competing for the last 7 years as a youth climber. At 17 years old, he has won two national lead climbing titles and in old and in the 2018 season he was 4 overall in Youth A Bouldering at Nationals, earning him a spot on the Canadian Youth Climbing Team. He has represented Canada at both the Pan American and World Youth Climbing Championships. Tyson’s passion is outdoor climbing. He climbed his first 5.13 sport route when he was 14 years old, and this summer at age 17, he sent his first 5.14a route, Fit Bird Direct in Echo Canyon. His goal is to spend as much time as possible sending new routes on real rock anywhere!
