ACA x Bolder Local Competition

Bolder Climbing Community is excited to be hosting an ACA Sanctioned Bouldering Competition on Saturday, February 18, 2023!

Format

This is a one-day competition with qualifying round for all categories, and a finals round  for YOUTH C only. ; there will not be a semi-finals round. The top 10 competitors will advance to finals.

Qualifiers

  • Full Scramble for Youth D
  • Modified Scramble for Youth C

Finals

  • IFSC 5 on 5 off Flashed Format – 4 problems

Cost

Registration is $75 per participant.

                    8:15 AM             Technical Meeting
8:30 AM – 10:30 AM             Qualifier Round – Youth C & D Female
                   9:30 AM              Check-In and warmup open- Youth C & D Male
                   10:15 AM             Technical Meeting
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM            Qualifier Round – Youth C & D Male
         12:30- 2:00 PM             Setting Turnover
                     1:00 PM             Warm up open for Youth C Finalists
                    2:00 PM             Presentation of Finalists
          2:00 – 4:15 PM             Finals – Awards to Follow

Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:

  • Judges – Qualifiers (no experience required)
  • Judges – Finals (previous competition judging experience required)
  • First Aid Responder – All Rounds (EMT / Paramedic / Physician)
  • Scorekeeper – Qualifiers
  • Athlete Runner – Finals (No experience required)
