A progression from climbing indoors to outdoors, this clinic is taught by Alpine Guide Sarah Hueniken will take you into the mountains and get you ready to sport climb! In this course you will learn how to place and clip draws, how to set anchors, how to lead belay, and how to rappel. You’ll also learn about the best safety practices and etiquette for sport climbing, and how to ensure you aren’t putting yourself or others in any avoidable risky situations when out in the mountains. The goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence to lead outdoors on your own!
